Hi, I am Dr. Clifford Degel. A little bit of background on me. I grew up here in Queens, born and bred New Yorker, went to school at Archbishop Molloy High School, which then was followed by St. John’s University. I was there for four years and graduated with a B.S. degree and then went to Georgetown University in Washington DC where I graduated with a D.D.S. in 1989. I have been practicing here in Astoria since 1990 and I found it to be a great experience. I love the area and I love the people in this area. Dentistry to me, one of the important things and one of the things I love is about putting people’s lives back together, changing their lives by changing their smile. A lot of patients come to me and they are in dire straits. They do not have any way of expressing their feelings. They cannot eat correctly and they are in desperate need. Here at Astoria Dental Group, I am able to do implants and cosmetics change people’s lives. That is what excites me about dentistry. It is not about just doing fillings or cleanings. It is about changing people’s lives.
