Although many patients prefer the quicker timeframe that Invisalign Express offers, it is important to remember that the treatment is not appropriate for all patients. If you have severe misalignment or spacing issues, you may be a better candidate for traditional Invisalign treatment. However, the best way to accurately determine whether you are a good candidate is to visit our office for a consultation.
During your initial consultation with Dr. Every-Degel, she will evaluate your smile and determine whether Invisalign Express or another Invisalign option is right for you. Thanks to our computer smile imaging SmilePix system, we can show you a preview of what your smile can look like after Invisalign treatment. Dr. Every-Degel will then send your impressions to Invisalign, where your custom treatment plan will be created. If you are happy with the proposed treatment timeline and costs, we can begin your treatment.

Depending on your unique case, you may be able to complete your treatment using anywhere from five to 10 aligners. Every two weeks, you will transition into a new set of aligners. As with traditional Invisalign, these must be worn at all times throughout the day except for eating, brushing, and flossing. Failing to wear your aligners as directed may prevent you from reaching your ideal smile within the desired time frame.
