Outside work, the Degels enjoy outdoor activities like tennis, scuba diving, and golf. They have three beautiful daughters, and the family loves to travel whenever their time allows. Dr. Degel was born and raised in Flushing, and attended Archbishop Molloy High School and St. John’s University. He attended dental school at Georgetown University, where he met Carmen.
Dr. Degel has practiced as a cosmetic dentist since 1990, when he took over the Astoria Dental Group practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Society of Osseointegration, and American College of Oral Implantology. His superior quality care has earned him distinguished recognition. He has been featured on the hit TV show, “Top Docs,” as well as in Vogue Magazine, celebrated as the best care provider in the Tri-State Area. He has also been named one of America’s Top Dentists multiple times by the Consumers Research Council of America.
Dr. Every-Degel is originally from Aruba, and the family visits the island whenever they can. After receiving a degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, she attended Georgetown University, where she met her husband. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Society of Osseointegration, American College of Oral Implantology, and American Association of Women Dentists. Dr. Every-Degel has earned a reputation as an excellent cosmetic dentist, and has been chosen by Invisalign® as one of the top providers of their product.
